For You: I'll burn all shows on high-quality (Fugi, Sony, etc.) 80min CDRs, or Japanese-made CDRs from lossless formats. Audio or Data Files are available. I will never write on your disc, inside ring, or sleeve. I'll use a post it to let you know what's what. I ship in bubble-padded envelopes. I want you to be happy. Please ask me anything about any show I have or about the process of anything. There is no such thing as newbie questions! :)
For Me: Please do not burn onto cheap, no-name CDRs. The best would be Fugi, Sony, or any other Japanese-made. Please do not write on discs, cases, or sleeves. Post-its or notes in the sleeves work nice. I like quick turn-arounds. Most trades I can have out the door, on the way to you, in a day or two. Please try to do the same.
Sound Quality: For me, it's hard to draw a line one this. I'm a big critic about the sound quality of a show, yet I'm also very aware that a 1956 audience recording of a Stanley Brothers show can't compare in actual sound quality to a 2005 Seldom Scene soundboard. Both shows blow me away. I guess I'm after the best available sound for that particular show.
Looking For: I'm currently looking for material with Tony Rice. Please contact me if you have anything that's not on my list. I can digitize and convert from any format, and send back to you. Audio tapes, DAT, Reel to Reel ..... I'm after uncirculated stuff, so I'll be happy with anything Tony related :)
