This was my third time taping a show, and the first outside. When talking to one of the event staff before the gig he said they only sold about 1000 tickets, they were hoping for closer to 5k. So the place was pretty empty except close to the stage, i was about 25ft back dead center. This was my b-day and decided it would be something cool to do with my girlfriend so we decided at last minute to go and record this show. I missed the first few seconds of the first track becuase i expected them to play some sort of intro music before they started playing but i guess i should of been watching closer and i would of saw them come on to the stage. There are occasional loud crowd talkers and screamers during the recording but this isnt to distracting imo. It was rather windy this day and you can hear the wind in my mic inbetween songs and during quiet parts on some songs. Overall this isnt on bad listen imo, even with the above mentioned flaws. Thanks goes out to brad for transfering my DAT master.
