01/11/2010 rumrunners I compared this to 2179 and found the remasterer raised the levels beyond the maximum so this clips some; this is 4:14 shorter and the "dead air" cut between songs includes lots of between song tuning
01/11/2010 mvernon this version used an audio rip if i read the transfer info correctly. The author starts with an audio CD (this was noted in the athor's comments on the bt.etree torrent). So in addition to whatever else was done, the connection to shnid 2179 is confounded by the unnecessary and possibly flawed audio extraction step.
01/11/2010 charlie miller I got the torrent pulled. This crap doesn't deserve and id.
01/12/2010 mvernon on another bt.etree torrent thread, chincat66 posted this:
"As far as 6/20 73 (sic) goes, I stand by my claim that it was a superior version to this one. In fact, I received my discs on a snail mail trade in 1998, before the compression scheme (shn) was around, so it was a disc to disc transfer at 1x, maybe from a different source tape. Anyway thanks to those who downloaded it. Those who want to correspond with constructive criticism can reach me at mrbills6712@yahoo.com."

So this establishes that this source is NOT derived from this shnid as claimed, did have an EAC extraction step as I noted in my prior comment.
07/10/2012 cool_breeze Must have passed through Serafin Studio B, too...SBEs on every track.
