06/05/2003 | Matt Vernon | It appears that Ken Kesey did NOT play the flute. Charlie Miller (who was seated in row 30 for this show) emailed me to say that Kesey played harmonica on both Space and US Blues. There was no mention of Kesy on deadlists and I think I saw the reference to Kesey in the Taper's Compendium but I can't recall if a flute was mentioned there, in which case, the flute reference was a figment of my imagination... anycase, a nice Shakedown on this one and Glassberg captured it along with the rest of the show

06/05/2003 | jb | You can't actually download music from this site. This is just a huge database that tracks what sources are in circulation. The best sites where you can actually download files quickly is www.gdlive.com or using the Furthur software available at www.furthurnet.org. Stuff that is not there you have to get the old fashioned way - find someone who has it and get it from them.
