09/12/2003 | Eric | I don't know about others, but when I see a info file for a show that says "pitch corrected", I'd really like to know the details on what was done. Very few humans have perfect pitch and unless you explain your process it's difficult to determine whether this has been influenced in any degree by subjective judgement.
09/12/2003 | mcole | Good point. When I pitch correct I use a tuner, and essentially resample. Looks like Soundforge was used in such a capacity here.
08/13/2011 | charliemiller | This sounds like an audience recording to me. I know that they were doing a lot of 4 track recordings in 1968 using mics at the board as one or two of the tracks. Maybe this cones from those mics? Either way, it sounds way too distant to be a sbd. |
