There is an inherent problem with the wav file for d1t02. The shn when decompressed to wav and then burned to audio sounds fine. However if the seek enabled shn is played in winamp and you try to seek it, it just plays mostly static. A couple of us have tried to by etracting a newly burned wav using EAC in secure mode then re-shning it but it made no difference. There is unlikely to be a revised file forthcoming! |

I tried rejoining the shns from the original archived discs and retracking, but the problem remained. I have never seen this problem before and have no explination for it. The .wavs play fine, as do all tracks on the burned CDs. The track two shn file will play fine until one tries to seek through the track, and then it plays static. jay |

You might have stepped on a bug in the seek-algorithm. I would like to have a look at the d1t02 file so I can reproduce the bug and try to fix the shorten program. Please contact me if you got this seed. |

12/22/2003 | Darryl Hinko | I ran into this problem with one of my first seeds. And it was corrected by a friend. He said he chopped the last sample off the file and it worked fine. | |

I will try what Darryl suggested and if it works I will re-up the track and new md5 to Tol. jay |

I tried removing 1, 10, and 1000 samples from both the beginning and the end of the track with no luck. The anomoly remained. jay |
