04/15/2004 | C Miller | How is this different from the Warner seed? Is the Lee portion of Dancin through the end an upgrade to the Weinberg seed (which sounds pretty bad for that portion of teh show, which is strange because the earlier portions sound decent)

Hi Charlie, Its just what I said in the text, I picked the best portions from all the sources then worked them to sound better... The Lee tape was a better starting point for the second half as the Weinberg that I had was saturated on bass... This is my thing, I find the best available sources then make them sound better! All that have listend to this think it sounds better... Wiz |

04/19/2004 | jb | If Ken and Judy Lee release this show as part of the PCRP and it sounds anything like 6/24/70, that will then become the definitive version.
04/20/2004 | C Miller | I'm not Charlie Miller, but thanks for the reply. I've downloaded a few tracks from tol and am listening now. Certainly the mid-Dancin --> end of show portion of Weinberg's source needed an upgrade. Not sure yet about Weinberg's source up to that point. I think his source from the acoustic set (what there is of it, anyway) sounds pretty nice, so I'm undecided. Thanks for your work, nonetheless. |
