Taken from http://communities.msn.com/GDLive Started by: matty I downloaded 11/4/77 the other day from GDlive - Great show! There is no text on the site for this show, after I burned it I noticed there were an awful lot of tracks on disc 3, turns out to be some filler on the end, does anyone know what, when, where? Is it a sound check or something? The tunes are " Rip it up, Blue suede shoes, Peggy - o, Cumberland blues, Thirty days". Any help would be appreciated! Reply by: Wander I'm pretty certain it is the Soundcheck from The Omni in Atlanta, 12/12/73. It is really great, eh? I love when Jerry pauses Peggy-O and says, "it goes to A there, Keith." |

Thanks Marshall, seems almost cleared up except for the exact tracklist. The gdlive discussion you quote mentions 5 songs. The info I have so far at this site lists 6 tracks of filler. Meanwhile, Taping Compendium lists the following 7 songs during the 12/12/73 soundcheck: Sleighride, Stay, Rip It Up, Blue Suede Shoes, Peggy-O, Cumberland Blues, Thirty Days. Can someone who has this disc help confirm or track out this listing on the disc? |

05/08/2001 | David Davis | I am just burning this so I have not listened to it (although I did go to 11/4,5,6/1977 on a weekend of my freshman year in college, thanks Rick Sullivan) but according to Deadhead Compendium Vol. 1, the seven tracks from 12/12/73 Omni soundtrack were Sleighride, Stay, Rip It Up, Blue Suede Shoes, Peggy-O, Cumberland Blues, 30 Days. | |

09/12/2003 | Sean Cribbs | The tuning after Sleigh Ride has always sounded like Eric Idle's Bright Side of Life (from the Life of Brian) to me. |
