01/31/2003 | Mark Goldey | There are sector boundary errors on the last track of each disc.
03/26/2003 | Jeff | This SBD/AUD was compiled by Mr. Jackey Sack. Thanks!
03/27/2003 | Joe Jupille | That'd be Jack Warner, for those wondering. ;-)

There can never be a sectory boundary on the last track. It just doesn't make any sense for the last track because there is no gap to the next track. |
|
03/27/2003 | Ryan Burns | Martin...not true. You can have a setor bopundary on any track...even the last one!

Not only is it true, but if you don't correct for it, it will occur again when there is a "next" track - like when these SHN sources are taken to DVD-audio and the whole show can fit on one disc... Terry |

I'm curious if any expert knows for certain that the sectors for an audio DVD are bundled in the same manner as a CD (2132 bytes?). One would have to assume so, but it seems at least possible to me that things could be quite different with regards to tracking. Regarding this show (and quite a few others): if you are burning CDs, you almost certainly have no worries about the disc ending SBEs. It would be rare for discs of sets like this not to end in (or start in) silence as it is unless there's an 80+ minute jam, so there shouldn't be a pop, even if you were to burn a whole DVD without shntooling. |

03/27/2003 | Diana | More general DVD discussion/issues would be better off on say forums.etree.org rather than appended as comments "about" this shn set. Tanks!
10/13/2003 | Mark Goldey | There's a neat bit of audience banter at about 1:40 into Stella Blue, along the lines of "Hey, are you recording this? You gonna make a bootleg?" |
