According to David Hollister, the purported lineage of this copy
that he got and speed corrected was given as SMR > reel > DAT > ...
Note that Resources for Tapers gives the lineage of the best
circulating copy as Reel master > 2 reel gens > DAT > circulation,
but Rob Bertrando says he knows of no reel master made of this show.
(There is another circulating copy with verified lineage of cassette
master > cassette > DAT, which David says is definitely different)

Speed correction and remastering to CD by David Hollister; David
corrected the speed of his copy by shifting the pitch up
75 centones.

(Subsequent extraction and.shn encoding by Seth Kaplan (Sdk022769@aol.com)
via EAC and MKW. Accurate extraction and properly aligned sector boundaries
verified via EAC and .shntool)

Re-tracking was performed on the intial disc layout to change the disc
flip from The Eleven > Lovelight ending d1 and beginning d2 respectively,to
Dark Star ending d1 > St. Stephen beginning d2 where there was a cleaner break.

Matt VernonMISSING2 sbd - average sbd sound for this era. Set 1 is forgetable, except Phil seems to be a bit peeved with a cantankerous comment at the end. The Dark Star is typical for this time and teh 11 and Morning Dew seem to be better performed than the other songs this day. [5/9/2004]
Matt VernonSHN2 sbd Owen Bros version [2006-06-20] Contains the standard DS > SS > 11 > LL sequence in the Live/Dead style. DS doesn't have the MOTM intro but is a cold start, nevertheless its a good version. The 11 seems to have a few sour notes. Deadlists suggest this is the 2nd of 2 sets. If you like Live/Dead you'd enjoy this, but the FW run at the end of the month might have better sound and equivalent performances. Still this is a good show with nice sound so I give it an A- rating.
